About
Who I am
I am a product documentation systems leader with 17+ years of experience in enterprise software.
I specialize in building documentation systems that make complex products easier to understand, adopt, and operate. My work spans help documentation, API documentation, release workflows, in-app guidance, and knowledge systems.
What I do
I design and operate documentation ecosystems that connect product, engineering, and user experience.
This includes:
- structuring documentation across help systems, APIs, and in-app guidance
- aligning documentation with product releases and engineering workflows
- improving developer onboarding and integration experience
- building scalable documentation workflows using automation and AI
My focus is on improving product adoption, reducing support dependency, and enabling self-service at scale.
How I think
I approach documentation as a system, not as content.
In most organizations, documentation, developer workflows, and operational knowledge exist in silos. This creates friction for users and slows down adoption.
I design systems that connect these layers so that:
- users can complete tasks without external support
- developers can integrate without confusion
- teams can maintain documentation at scale
When designed correctly, documentation becomes part of the product experience.
Experience
Over the course of my career, I have worked across enterprise environments leading documentation initiatives that involved:
- API documentation and developer experience
- knowledge base and content strategy
- documentation governance and standardization
- release documentation workflows
- AI-assisted editorial systems
I have worked closely with product managers, engineers, and customer-facing teams to ensure documentation supports real-world usage.
Current focus
I am currently working on documentation systems and product thinking through a consulting engagement focused on enterprise automation platforms.
This includes exploring how operational workflows, platform architecture, and product behavior can be structured into scalable documentation systems.
Why this matters
In enterprise software, documentation directly impacts how a product is understood and adopted.
A well-designed documentation system helps:
- reduce support dependency
- improve onboarding
- enable faster releases
- scale product usage across teams
This is where I focus my work.
Let’s connect
I am open to roles in documentation leadership, developer experience, and product-aligned content strategy.
If you are building complex products and need scalable documentation systems, I’d be happy to connect.
